We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst (M/F/D) to join VMRay’s Business Intelligence team. Your key mission is to enable business growth by deriving relevant actionable insights from the vast array of business metrics and product-usage data and communicating them in a simple digestible way to the business leaders.
Ensure relevant and accurate data is tracked and captured in our systems across the entire customer journey
Develop and maintain dashboards to track relevant metrics
Help derive actionable insights from these data that answers valuable business questions
Act as a trusted business partner to both our go-to-market and product teams both in a supporter and in a challenger role, to ensure data remain the backbone of all of our key decisions
Strong educational background in data analytics, statistics, economics or a related field
3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment and experience working with CRM tools like Salesforce and BI/visualization tools
Experience in product analytics is a big plus
Structured analytical mindset towards problem solving, with the ability to analyze large data sets and condensing them into simple, understandable and actionable insights
Good communication skills to work directly with stakeholders across the entire organization
Strong affinity towards commercial aspects of the business and inherent drive towards problem solving in a pragmatic fashion
Fluency in English

VMRay’s Business Intelligence function, that is part of our Finance organization, drives business growth by deriving relevant actionable insights from the vast array of business data and communicating them in a simple digestible way to the business leaders, enabling them to make consistent data-driven decisions.
You will work closely with finance, sales and marketing teams to ensure we have the right and accurate data tracked and captured in our systems.
You will derive actionable insights from these data that answers the relevant business questions.
You will communicate these insights in a simple digestible way to business leaders using a variety of tools, including relevant dashboards, regular reporting and ad-hoc presentations as needed.
You will act as a valuable business partner to our sales and marketing teams through both a supporter and a challenger role, to ensure data remain the backbone of all of our key decisions.
You will support the CFO and CEO for investor presentations and other external needs.
You have strong proficiency in one or more of SQL / R /Python etc... along with Excel.
Experience with visualization tools like Power BI would be highly desirable.
Experience working with SalesForce or other similar CRM tools is a nice to have.
You have a structured analytical mindset towards problem solving, with the ability to analyze large data sets and condensing them into simple, understandable and actionable insights.
You have the communication skills to work directly with both senior business leaders and operational team members and those with or without data/analytical background.
You have a strong affinity towards commercial aspects of the business and inherent drive towards problem solving in a pragmatic fashion.
Fluency in English.
