VMRay is looking for a Technical Product Manager (M/F/D) to help us turn complex customer needs into clear, valuable, and technically sound product capabilities. In this role, you will ensure that product decisions are based on a deep understanding of the problem we are solving. You will translate product opportunities into clear epics, align stakeholders around scope and trade-offs, support delivery with R&D, and measure whether released capabilities are adopted and performing as expected. This is a hands-on product role for someone who enjoys working closely with R&D, customer-facing teams, and cybersecurity practitioners. Your Responsibilities
Product Definition & Scoping: own the translation ofprioritized initiatives into well defined Epics that R&D can confidently plan, estimate, and execute
Solution Validation: break down customer needs, evaluate solution options, challenge assumptions, assess feasibility, define MVP, coordinate beta testing, and manage trade-offs
Roadmap Prioritization: evaluate customer requests, technical improvements, and strategic initiatives by bringing detailed technical, customer and adoption insights into decision-making
Release Delivery: manage the communication cycle of new product enhancements, inc. delivery scope, impact and known limitations
Adoption & Performance Analytics: collect customer feedback, monitor product usage & trends, as well as define measure KPIs for new capabilities to identify gaps and reassess priorities
Our Requirements
5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership or Solutions Engineering in a B2B software company
Must have domain exposure in one of the following: endpoint security, email security, threat intelligence, or related SOC solutions
Strong technical understanding and ability to discuss product behavior, integrations, APIs, data flows, architecture trade-offs, scalability, reliability, and operational constraints
Experience turning complex customer problems into clear requirements, while managing trade-offs between customer value, technical feasibility, speed, and quality
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative signals to inform product decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when aligning technical and non-technical stakeholdersWeitere Informationen
