We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and relentlessly curious working student Threat Analysis (M/F/D) to join the VMRay Labs Team.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze in-the-wild malware threats and write detection signatures and malware configuration extractors for them
- Support in the analysis and evaluation of security threats and incidents
- Conduct research on current cyber threats and trends
- Support the team in developing maintaining small internal tools and services
Our Requirements
- Enrolled student (M/F/D) in the field of IT Security or Cyber Security
- Basic knowledge in the areas of network security, malware analysis, and penetration testing
- Basic programming skills in a high level language (e.g. Python, Java, etc.)
- Fast learner
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in German and English
- High motivation and ability to work in a team
